Babe with "long" Hair

Living in Florida makes for tame winter weather. Usually. This year has been a little different. We have actually had days in the low 30's. In Florida! That is just ludicrous. I am not prepared for such weather. I have one sweat shirt for crying out loud. My washer and dryer have definitely gotten a work out. I've washed my sweat shirt so many times I am surprised it still resembles a sweat shirt.

Any way. I have learned that men have one way of preparing for winter that women don't. Okay, maybe some women could, but we won't go into that. I'm talking about going grizzly. Growing a beard and letting their hair grow as is it pleases. Why? Why not wear a hat or use a scarf. Okay maybe not a scarf, but a hat for sure. I have to say that this has weighed my mind enough to scrapbook it. Weird. I know.  Here is the page I made.

So most of you are looking at this and saying to yourselves, "his hair is not long, what is she talking about. She has clearly lost her mind and is in no hope of getting it back."  Well let me tell you, Babe normally shaves his own head in the back yard with a 1 guard. So touche my internet friends, touche. This is very long for him. I actually pulled his hair the other night just to say I did. Once summer comes that will never happen again. Back to the 1 guard I sure.

On a srapbooking tip. This was made with Project 365 Kit from Brandy Designs. You can get it here. And if you get it before the end of January you get it for 30% off. Neat-o I know.

Hopefully summer comes sooner than later.

Thank you and Good night.

Things I'm digging

For Christmas the family got a couple of gifts from Santa to enjoy together. Sometimes it is hard for Santa to do this because my kids are seven years apart. I have to say he did a pretty good job this year.

Big Fish Lil' Fish is geared to kids between the age of 4 and 12. You can play the full version, which is great for Trev, or the "younger kids" version, which is great for Stinky.

Basically you deal all the cards out to all the players, like you would if you were playing war. There are 4 different color cards. Purple, orange, blue and green. They are number 1-48 and you get 4 puffer fish for each color.

The "pond" is the discard pile that is placed in the middle of all the players.

The object of the game is to get rid of all your cards. Easy enough. But wait, you have to follow 4 simple "fishing" rules.

#1 Big fish eat little fish
#2 Fish of the same color can not eat each other
#3 Puffer fish swim with fish of the same color
#4 No fish can eat a Puffer fish.

Of course there is a little more to it than this, but I am not going to type out the whole instruction sheet. I think I gave you enough to get the idea.

This game is fun and fast. Most important any one can play. Babe played AND enjoyed it. That is very impressive in my book.

So if you are looking for a fun family game I would have to recommend this. I give it Rhonda's stamp of approval.

Thanks you and Good night.

Proud to be on the blog team for Brandy Designs

For those of you who know me, I am a digital scrapbooker. I love it. I love how I can put my pictures on a page and tell a story. I love that I can use the "kits" over and over and over again. I love that there is no mess. No paper scraps and loose brads all over the floor.

I love digital Scrapbooking.

There is a great big digital scrapooking world on the internet. It is full of great people that love the craft as much as I do, if not more. The only difference between me and them is that they participate in that community.

Until now. Muahhaha. That was suppose to be the laugh from Dr. Evil in Austin Powers. Can you hear it too.

I finally took the leap and I love it! Brandy from Brandy Designs gave me this great opportunity. I am so thrilled to be doing this for her. It is so much fun and gives me a great education that I would have not gotten otherwise.

So if you are a digital scrapper head on over to Brandy Designs and show some love!

Thank You and Good Night.
