Yummy Black Beans

I thought I would share this recipe cause it is super easy and this is my blog so I can do what I want.

Rhonda's Black Beans

1 can black beans
1/2 cup chopped onions
1/4 cup chopped green peppers
1 packet of Sazon seasoning
2 small cloves of garlic minced or pressed
1 tablespoon of olive oil

Heat the olive oil in a pan over medium or medium high heat. Throw in the onions and green peppers. Stir them around and keep an eye on them. You don't want them to burn. After about 5 minutes or so turn the heat down to medium low. Press you garlic into the pan. At this point you need to make sure you constantly stir the garlic or it will burn. Burnt garlic, yuck. Cooked garlic, yum. After about 2 minutes add the black beans and the Sazon packet. Stir. Turn down the heat to low and let simmer for about 10 minutes. That way the flavors can meld.

All done. Wasn't that easy? I serve mine over rice. Yellow or white. Pure goodness I tell you.

Thank you and Good night.

A whole lot of green

For Christmas Babe got me a computer program called ACDSee. It is designed to organize photos and all the scrapbooking stuff a girl could ever buy. My computer came with a picture program that stores and organizes photos, aka jpeg files, but not png files, which most digital scrapbooking stuff is. Which for me posed a problem. I have tons of scrapbooking stuff. TONS! It sucked trying to finds stuff. Clicking on this folder and clicking on that folder to realize it was to wrong folder to begin with. Trying to keep designers and stores organized. Certain stores only allow you to post layouts in their gallery if the layout was made using all the product from their store or if you are a CT member for a designer you have to make a layout with all their stuff. With this awesome program I can choose from a list of "things", that I made, and it will pop up. For example, I have my stuff broken down into color, so if I want something out of my stash that is green I click on the word green and it brings up everything in my stash that is green. Pretty cool isn't it. To narrow it down even more I can pick stuff that is green and that is designed by Brandy and bam, it will bring it up.

The only down fall is categorizing everything. You have to do that by hand,  piece by piece.  Once you get past that it is a dream.

The first thing I did was select everything green. Then came this layout.

I'm not sure how I feel about this layout just yet. I love the picture of Stinky. I love the idea of a monochromatic layout. At least I think this is considered monochromatic. The dictionary says

monocrhomatic –adjective
       1. of, pertaining to, or having tones of one color in addition to the ground hue.

I'm not sure about the whole ground hue thing, but what ever.

So what do you all think? Good? Not Good? I feel like I am in grade school again. Do you like me? YES or No. circle one.

On the scrapbooking tip I am not much help. I used so many different things from so many people it would take days to list. Please don't hate.

Thank you and Good night.
